Is there anything bad in Chainsaw Man?
Parents Need to Know
Expect to see intense scary imagery and heavy amounts of gore and graphic violence. Decapitation, dismemberment, disembowelment, and graphic body horror are frequently shown. Chainsaws, axes, swords, guns, and other weapons are commonly used.
One thing that irked readers of Chainsaw Man is the pacing. Too many things happen in one chapter of the manga, making it incredibly difficult to keep track of what is going on and what aspects are vital to the story. Some readers have even accidentally skipped chapters due to the large shift between events.
Chainsaw Man tends to get bloody and disgusting, but the obnoxious repulsiveness of one particular scene will make people suffering from emetophobia want to skip it altogether.
In 2022, the subgenre of demon-fighting anime belongs to one clear standout: Chainsaw Man. Not much more to say, “Chainsaw Man” is a truly great title, one of the best we have seen during the last few years, and another testament to the extremely entertaining apogees Japanese imagination can reach.
When the anime series was officially announced, Fujimoto commented: "Chainsaw Man is like a copycat of Dorohedoro and Jujutsu Kaisen, and the studio of Dorohedoro and Jujutsu Kaisen will produce its anime!? I have nothing to say! Please do it!"
Lots of fantasy violence, including bloody injuries and corpses, including those of young children. It also features disturbing images of people turning into demons or eating human flesh. Did you know you can flag iffy content? Adjust limits for Violence & Scariness in your kid's entertainment guide.
What age Is Chainsaw Man suitable for? According to the official ratings, Chainsaw Man is appraised as “MA“, and that implies maturity. It means that: This program is specifically designed to be viewed by adults and therefore may be unsuitable for children under 17.
The reason Twitter suspended them was not the impersonation, but for being too young to have a social media account. However, Fujimoto himself replied to Lin's tweet using a new Twitter account begging the editor to reinstate the “Koharu Nagayama” account.
While Denji was afraid of getting kissed in front of Makima, Himeno took her chance to pounce and laid quite the kiss on the protagonist, with one of the hero's dreams coming true in glorious fashion...
1 Swallowing Himeno's Puke
Having his first real kiss be in public, around all his friends (including his first crush, Makima), is already embarrassing enough to most people. However, Himeno decided to make the situation a hundred times worse by drunkenly vomiting into Denji's mouth!
Who did Denji kiss?
Himeno offers Denji his first kiss before drunkenly puking in his mouth. Aki presses Makima while drinking for more information about Denji's Chainsaw Devil. Of course, Denji's first kiss with Himeno has to be traumatic.
Like most anime, its pros and cons work to balance each other out, but this is all the more obvious in a series like Chainsaw Man, where numerous viewers proclaim the show's superiority yet said show ends up being, if not necessarily bad, then certainly decidedly overrated.

After taking in season one, the Chainsaw Man fan decided to ink an alternate world where Pochita isn't a dog but a girl instead. And as you can tell, the adorable makeover makes Denji and Pochita the ultimate sibling duo.
Despite having many things in common, Gojo and Kakashi are very different people. While Kakashi prides himself on teaching his students that every life is sacred, Gojo mostly only cares for those he considers strong.
Both are fan-favorite characters amongst the audience and it was only natural for anime fans to compare their strength in hopes of finding a winner. While both of them are not from the same universe, given how both the anime have creatures within them born from fear, one could come up with a common ground for them.
Humor and Tone Separates Chainsaw Man from Attack on Titan
Amid the despair, Chainsaw Man boasts a sense of style and slickness that's even greater than the high-flying animation used in Attack on Titan.
It was a pretty violent show but is not as gory as other animes. I think it deserves it's MA15+ but would be okay for some children if they are mature and have watched other animes. And besides the anime is not that graphic in violence. 4 people found this helpful.
Due to all of that,I'd have to say that this series is for 13+ for a general audience but ultimately you'd have to decide based on your knowledge of how mature your own children are if you want to let them watch it at a younger age.
Naruto. Type: Television series. Rating: PG. Age range: 11 years and older.
There's some fantasy violence (blood, fighting, use of weapons, and dead bodies). Expect lots of action and fighting. Characters get slashed, stabbed, and injured, and they can die in fights. Blood is shown but never any detailed gore.
Did Chainsaw Man get censored?
Posted April 6, 2023, 10:28 p.m. It is no secret that Tatsuki Fujimoto's hit manga Chainsaw Man has graphic violence and provocative imagery. Fans are accustomed to its controversial content, and it shouldn't be too shocking when you read that the manga's cover of a volume was censored in Indonesia.
This account was modeled around a third-year elementary school student. As a result, the age mentioned is that of a minor, which goes against the platform's terms. This led to Twitter banning the account.
However, as his trainer, Aki Hayakawa, has noted, Denji doesn't seem focused, with his perverted mind locked onto something quite juvenile. This is unfortunately his adolescent urge to fondle the ladies in the series, making Denji a really creepy character.
At the beginning, Denji is portrayed as a poor and desperate individual, haunted by his deceased father's debt, hunger, and loneliness. This trauma has a significant impact on his mental well-being and decision-making process.
Chainsaw Kiss
While this was clearly not how Denji expected his first kiss to go down, the episode came to a close with the two devil hunters falling asleep next to one another, as Himeno offered the Chainsaw Devil another of his dreams that he was looking to fulfill. What did you think of this censored moment?
Despite various rumors, the English version of the Chainsaw Man anime has not been canceled in America by Crunchyroll. By all accounts, it has actually been very successful for the streaming service, and the full English dub is on the way.
Personality. When introduced, Reze initially appears to be a kind and gentle girl who has a crush on Denji soon after meeting him, taking interest in him at first sight and was portrayed to be as somewhat enthusiastic, as shown when both Denji and her have a drink of coffee at the Café she had worked at.
Makima was Denji's first and last love, the manipulative Control Devil who only cared about Denji for Chainsaw Man.
Despite discovering her plot, her identity as the Control Devil, and the fact that he meant nothing to her, Denji would still continue to love Makima. To him, although she had betrayed him and had brutally slaughtered his closest friends, she had been one of the few people in his life to show him affection.
Later, she asks him to take a bath with her, in order to keep her safe. The two shower, as Power continuously sobs about being attacked from behind. As the two get in the bath and lay together, Denji is surprised that despite the intimacy of their act, it doesn't feel sexual in any manner.
Why is Denji's teeth like that?
As per fans, Denji might have developed some abnormalities in his teeth due to severe malnutrition, poor dental hygiene, and no access to dental healthcare during his childhood, all due to his rough upbringing and financial situation.
In response she takes over and kisses Denji likely in hopes of quickly winning his heart which would allow her to finally turn him into a weapon, but she is swiftly incapacitated by Nayuta instead. After kissing him, she could be seen visibly blushing.
One of Denji's biggest goals in life before becoming Chainsaw Man was getting a girlfriend.
And while his new love interest Asa Mitaka also has ulterior motives for dating him, she seems less cold-hearted in her manipulation than his previous potential romantic partners.
Denji is deeply subservient to Makima, to the point he makes a fool of himself. Denji tries too hard to please Makima and be her dog. It's true he's in a submissive situation with few options, but even so, he doesn't have to act like that.
1. Chainsaw Devil (Pochita) Without a doubt, Pochita, aka the Chainsaw Devil, is the most powerful devil in the Chainsaw Man franchise. Even though it might appear like many devils can overpower Chainsaw Man, none of his defeats are permanent.
Makima being a villain may surprise those who have yet to read the manga, but Makima is among the main antagonists of the series Chainsaw Man.
Even though Chainsaw Man has its lighthearted moments, the series is riddled with death. Some deaths just hit harder than others. Even if Chainsaw Man has many lighthearted moments, this manga/anime series is one of the most tragic in recent publications.
Pochita deeply cared for Denji after his life was saved by the human, despite the Devil's general hatred toward humankind. He willingly gave up his heart to Denji so that he could fulfill his dreams which Pochita loved hearing about.
As revealed in Chapter 87 of the manga, Pochita was in a battle with the four horsemen group of devils before reaching a near-death situation. In its weakened state, Pochita adopted a cute dog-like look and met Denji (protagonist).
Why did Denji eat Makima?
Denji denied her wish to become a part of the Chainsaw Devil and instead forced her to be a part of him. In his conversation with Kishibe after defeating Makima, he revealed that he ate her because eating her whole not only made sure that she would never revive, but also made her one with Denji.
Summary. Denji agrees to have sex with Himeno, and she starts undressing him. As she begins to take off his pants, however, she finds a Chupa-Chups Lollipop in his pocket. A flashback to the restaurant shows Denji in a fugue after the vomit kiss.
At first, Denji's cries for Aki to wake up and snap out don't seem to reach him, but as their devastating battle carries on, injuring and killing countless innocents, something in Aki shifts. He sees Denji crying and gives up the fight, allowing Denji to kill him.
- 8 Aki Hayakawa.
- 7 Hell Devil.
- 6 Quanxi.
- 5 Santa Claus.
- 4 Gun Devil.
- 3 Makima.
- 2 Darkness Devil.
- 1 Chainsaw Man.
In 2021, fans had been translating scans from the manga on the internet, and the translations had already been criticized for their choice of specific expressions and slang used by adolescents.
Even though Chainsaw Man has lighthearted moments, the series is riddled with death, and some deaths hit harder than others. Even if Chainsaw Man has many lighthearted moments, this manga/anime series is one of the most tragic in recent publications.
Darkness Devil
It has extreme speed and strength and can instantly dismember and kill multiple people. Making it the deadliest Devil. There are plenty of other deadly devils in the world of Chainsaw Man, but these are the ones I think make the cut.
Parents need to know that this movie is not recommended for anyone under 17. Yes, kids love to be scared, but the violence here is so disturbingly realistic that it's too much for most older kids (and some adults) to handle.
Summary. Denji agrees to have sex with Himeno, and she starts undressing him. As she begins to take off his pants, however, she finds a Chupa-Chups Lollipop in his pocket. A flashback to the restaurant shows Denji in a fugue after the vomit kiss.
rumors of Chainsaw Man being cancelled in America. spread like wildfire, but of course. this rumor isn't true.
Is Makima abusive?
Makima takes in the impoverished Denji as a human pet and threatens to hurt/kill him if he doesn't do as she pleases. In some of the earliest chapters, she invades Denji's personal space, forces him to grope her, and basically promises him sex/a relationship as a reward, in order to motivate him to do his work.
Being too hungry, Denji is unable to sleep. He tells Pochita that he dreams of having bread with jam, flirting with a girl, playing games with her and then falling asleep while they hug each other. Denji then coughs blood and tells Pochita that he heard his mother had a heart disease that made her cough blood.
The anime has lots of extremely graphic and gory violence and body horror throughout. Chainsaws (the main character for context), axes, swords, guns, and other weapons are used. In one episode, two semi-immortal characters are killed repeatedly as part of their "training".
- Several scenes of explicit and prolonged graphic violence. - Pervasive graphic portrayals of torture. - Frequent disturbing scenes. Frequent, detailed, gory images depicting decapitation, dismemberment, mutilation, shooting, impalement, explosions, electrocution, stabbing, strangulation, fighting and burning.
Sam Strike plays Jackson, born Jedidiah Sawyer, as one of the four inmates that escape the mental institution, before ultimately becoming the eponymous Leatherface after enduring tragedies that destroy his cognitive stability.
This movie, starring a creepy clown, is based on a horror novel by Stephen King. Why is It rated R? The MPA rated It R for violence/horror, bloody images, and for language.
